Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Testing
Would you like a 360-degree view of your metabolic, heart, and lung function? Leveraging PNOE’s cutting edge technology, Peak can help you to really understand your body and its needs. The Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) test is a simple, non-invasive way that accurately measures how many calories you burn at rest. During the test, the PNOE machine captures and analyzes the composition of your breath, determining your oxygen consumption, to measure the rate at which you consume energy. Everyone is different and we don’t recommend people rely on general calculations that do not understand anything about you and your needs. With these precise measurements, you can optimize nutritional and training plans to help you meet your weight loss, fitness conditioning, and/or muscle gain goals. This test does not take any effort. All you have to do is lay back and relax for 15 minutes and Peak will provide you with data that is game changing for you.
VO2 Max Testing
A VO2 max test is a maximal exercise test performed on a bike, rower, treadmill, or exercise machine while connected to our PNOE analyzing your expired air. Your test provides data on how much oxygen you use as you exercise and determines the maximal oxygen you can consume during exercise. This test can help any athlete better understand how your body responds during exercise. This information can then be used to calculate accurate training zones to take your training and performance to the next level. This is an essential test for any Runner, Cyclist, Crossfitter, Triathlete, Weightlifter, or serious athlete.
